Piclio is a UK-based sole trader business operating under the name Piclio.

Throughout these Terms:

• “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Piclio
• “you”, “your” refers to the customer (consumer or business)

2. Who Can Use Piclio

• Piclio subscriptions are available to UK customers only
• You may be a consumer or a business customer
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

3. Our Service

Piclio is a subscription-based service that allows you to:

• Upload photos and captions
• Design monthly photo magazines online
• Have those magazines professionally printed and posted to a chosen UK recipient

Magazines are:

• Professionally printed
• Sewn-bound
• Posted via Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery

UK delivery is included in the subscription price.

4. Subscription Plans & Pages

• Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual plans
• Plans are based on the number of pages per magazine, not the number of photos
• You may upload unlimited photos, subject to page limits
• You choose your own layouts, photo positioning, and captions
• Unused pages are not carried over to future months

5. Billing & Payments

Monthly Subscriptions

• Charged in advance on the 1st of each month
• Subscriptions renew automatically on a rolling monthly basis
• If a payment fails, we may retry payment a few days later

Annual Subscriptions

• Charged in full upfront for 12 months
• Non-refundable once payment has been taken

You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are kept up to date.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard
• To avoid being charged again, you must cancel before the next billing date
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for:

• Missed uploads
• Unused pages
• Cancellation after payment has been taken

If you cancel after payment but before your magazine is created, no refund will be issued.
This does not affect your statutory rights where applicable.

7. Upload Deadlines & Magazine Creation

Upload Cut-off

The cut-off date for uploads is the 3rd of each month.

Example:
A January magazine must be completed by 3 February.

Reminders

• Reminder emails are sent on the last day of the month
• You then have 3 additional days to finalise uploads

If You Don’t Upload

• If you upload no photos, no magazine will be created or sent
• That month is forfeited and no refund is provided

Partial Use

• The magazine will be printed with the pages you created
• No refund or credit is issued for unused pages

8. Previews & PDFs

• You can preview each page before printing
• Once printed, you will receive a PDF copy of your magazine
• PDFs are for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed

9. Delivery

• Magazines are posted monthly, usually in the first week of the month
• Delivery is via Royal Mail 2nd Class
• Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
• We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail

Addresses

• You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address
• Addresses can be updated in your account dashboard
• We are not responsible for missed deliveries due to incorrect addresses

10. Gifts & Recipients

• Subscriptions may be gifted
• You may change the recipient address at any time via your account
• You remain responsible for payments and account management
• You may add additional recipients at a reduced rate

11. Photos, Content & Image Rights

You confirm that:

• You own or have permission to use all photos uploaded
• You have the right to include any individuals shown in your images
• You accept responsibility for photo quality

Content Rules

We reserve the right to refuse or remove content that is:

• Offensive
• Illegal
• Infringing on third-party rights
• Otherwise inappropriate

12. Use of Your Photos

• Piclio will never use your photos for marketing
• Photos are used only to provide the Piclio service
• Images are deleted once the magazine is printed and the PDF is provided

13. Intellectual Property

• All magazine designs, layouts, templates, and software belong to Piclio
• You retain ownership of your photos
• You may not copy, reproduce, or resell Piclio designs or layouts

14. Account Misuse & Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, breaches, or abuse
• You may hold multiple accounts with no limitation

15. Problems, Reprints & Remedies

If something goes wrong, we may offer a reprint, account credit, or refund at our discretion.
Our liability is limited to the value of the affected subscription period.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Otherwise, Piclio is not liable for indirect losses, missed uploads, unused pages, or delivery delays beyond our control.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to UK courts.
